This Cookie Policy explains how Cirello ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on cirello.app (the "Site") and in the Cirello application at web.cirello.app (the "App").
Read it together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Cookies and Local Storage Are
Cookies are small text files a website places on your device. Local storage is a similar browser feature that keeps small pieces of data for one website. Both are used to make websites work and to remember your choices.
2. What We Use
Strictly necessary and functional. We use cookies and local storage for things the Site and the App need in order to work: keeping you signed in, completing sign-in, and remembering your choices. The App also keeps identifiers in local storage for functional purposes: your account identifier, a random identifier where features are rolled out gradually, and a temporary per-session value used for interface recordings. It also remembers your usage-data choice.
Site analytics. The Site uses anonymous, aggregate statistics that set no cookies, use no device storage, and do not identify visitors. Only if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner may we use more detailed measurement, which can set cookies or keep an identifier on your device.
App analytics. The App collects product usage data linked to your account, unless you turn it off. See the Privacy Policy for what is and is not collected.
No marketing or advertising cookies. We do not use them.
If we introduce non-essential cookies, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent before setting them.

In browsers that require it, the sign-in cookie name can carry a __Secure- prefix.
Our feedback board at feedback.cirello.app is a separate third-party service and sets its own cookies under its own policy.
4. Your Choices
- The Site shows a cookie banner on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the Site footer. Declining turns off the optional detailed measurement and changes nothing else about how the Site works.
- In the App, you can turn off usage data sharing under Account - Preferences - Share usage data.
- You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie, you will not be able to stay signed in to the App.
5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not track you across websites and do not sell or share personal data for advertising, so there is nothing for these signals to switch off. Our analytics is not used for advertising.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when what we use changes. Updates will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
